Ken Paves, the Creative Director behind the Hairdo line by HairUWear, hosted editors yesterday in NYC to show his latest designs in their new packaging. After the presentation, Ken offered to place one of the new looks on anyone interested.

How could we resist? We lined up and one by one Ken transformed us using some of his newest styles in their new, fresh and glamorous packaging.

The new offerings, ranging from classic clip-ins and clip-ons to textured ponytails,  bangs, sleek wraps and braids, are available in more than a dozen shades..including OMBRE! The retail prices range from $10 for the French Braid Band to  $99 for the 22" Straight Extension.

"It's so easy to switch up your look these days," Ken told me as he insisted on "glamming me up" before my next appointment. "I use these on all my celebrity clients."

The line is developed with True2Life Heat Styleable Hair which can be flat ironed, curled or blow dried. The new packaging has a QR code that directs the new owner to easy to follow mobile instructions on how to care for and style each Hairdo piece.

When I asked Ken how this service should be incorporated in to the salon, he told me that not only should salons SELL the pieces, but should also offer to instruct (for a fee) the client how to best incorporate the new hair into her own. "It's the service that keeps on giving," he said. "And clients should have multiple styles to switch out for different days."  Hmmmmm....kind of like shoes!
