L’Oréal Professionnel’s Inspiration Paris
WHAT:
L'Oréal Professionnel's Inspiration Paris. WHERE: The event at the Tuileries Gardens in Paris had 5,000 stylists from L'Oréal salons around the globe in attendance. WHY: To celebrate its 100th year as one of the leading hair care and hair color companies in the world, L'Oréal Professionnel celebrated with two days of education and inspiration.
THE DETAILS: The event kicked off with a welcome cocktail party and then attendees were treated to education on topics including new consumers/new services, cutting and styling, color innovation and branding.
THE SHOW: After a full day of education, attendees were bussed to the famous Zenith Theater in Paris. And for the next few hours, they enjoyed a visual treat like none they'd ever seen before. Teams from Alexandre de Paris, Aldo Coppola and Trevor Sorbie delivered stunning hair, gorgeous costumes and choreography to pull everything together. And for the grand finale-a team of French ambassadors from L'Oréal-Laurent Decreton, Christophe Gaillet, Laetitia Guenaou and Eric Zemmour-sent out models, each one with hair more spectacular than the next.
THE BIG REVEAL: "For L'Oréal, color is our raison d'etre," said Christopher Leguay, International Managing Director. "Innovation in coloring is at the heart of our business." And the innovating never stops. At Inspiration Paris, INOA was introduced. This permanent hair color has no ammonia and no odor-an amazing breakthrough in color technology. "It's a quick mix and the comfort of the scalp and hair fiber are totally respected," said Anne-Laure Lecerf, hair color international marketing director for L'Oréal. A high quantity of oil is used in the color, giving it amazing conditioning properties and a luxurious texture. A few top salons will receive INOA this fall with the major launch scheduled for early 2010.
THE FINAL NIGHT: All 5,000 attendees gathered at the Grand Palais, just off the Champs-Elysées for an amazing French feast and an unforgettable evening of dancing and celebration.
