Created by Scott Fontana, in association with Cristophe Salon Newport Beach, Making the Cut is a ive hair competition to be held on March 31 in Santa Ana, CA. Five finalists will compete by cutting and styling on stage to showcase their mane masterpieces in front of hundreds of local community members for the chance to win the title of OC’s Top Stylist 2014, as well as $2,500 cash and other prizes. The show will also feature a live hair and fashion show and two makeover reveals in partnership with Working Wardrobes. This year’s sponsors include L’Oréal, Milani Hair™, Privé Salon and products, Liquid Technologies®, Cezanne™ Perfect Finish Keratin Smoothing Treatment, Frankie Rose Cosmetics, Scott Fontana Collection and Cristophe Salon Newport Beach.
The judging panel will include Scott Fontana, Laurent D. of Privé Salon and products, Leyla Milani of Milani Hair, and Raha Lewis of People Magazine. Jeremy Jackson, Hollywood actor and host and former Baywatch star, will serve as emcee of the evening. Anne Moratto from Modern Salon will announce the winner of OC’s Top Stylist of 2014 out of the five finalists.
