Jasmine Thomas (@Idye4beauty) of San Diego, California, wowed us with this makeover, on her natural level 5-6 client with 4–5 inches of regrowth. The mid shaft was a faded level 6-7 warm gold and the ends were a level 8 gold.
Here Thomas shares the details for the vibrant and exciting new look:
STEP 1: Section the hair in 4 quadrants.
STEP 2: Fill the hair with Pravana Color Lush 2oz 7c, 2oz 8n and 1oz of Cooper Color Booster. Add 1oz of Brazilian Bond Builder with equal amounts of activator (0lift). Apply all over the hair. Process for 20 minutes then rinse and blow dry.
STEP 3: Mix 2oz of Pravana Pure Light Power Lightner and 3oz of 10 volume with 1/4 oz of Brazilian Bond Builder.
STEP 4: Babylight the top crown area using a mini balayage technique in between each foil. At the sides (temple area), apply in diagonal back sections to break up midsection level 6. Process for 20 minutes. Rinse and blow dry.
STEP 5: At the root apply 3oz Pravana 7.40CC (bright cooper blonde) with 1oz Brazilian bond builder added and blended with 3oz 10vol developer. Along the mids apply 4 oz Pravana 7.44Cc (intense copper blonde) with 1oz Brazilian Bond Builder added, blended with 4oz 5vol (mixed equal amounts of 10vol and zero lift). Process for 30-40 minutes at room temperature.
STEP 6: Rinse with Pravana NEVO Moisture Rich Shampoo and Conditioner (cool water). Towel dry and apply Pravana NEVO Intense Leave-In Conditioner.
STEP 7: To style, apply KenraPlatinum blowout spray all over damp hair and then blow dry with GHD Air dryer. Style with GHD 1.25 inch soft curl curling iron. Finish with Pravana Silk Degrees Shine Drops.
