Mirella Hullum (@MirellaManelli), the Technical Educator in California for Kenra Professional, offered up this two beauties for #MannequinMonday and we had to know more. Here she shares the details:
"The mannequins feature our upcoming 2015 Artistic applications that will launch in spring," she says. "My formulations incorporate Kenra Creative Colors that will be available on March 1st. Creatives will feature eight vibrant colors that include: blue, red, orange, pink, magenta, teal, yellow, and violet, plus a white to create pastels."
Both mannequins started out as level 8.
The front mannequin formulations:
Foundation - 1oz. 6RV, 1oz. 7SM, 2oz 20vol developer
Anchor - 1oz 6RV, 1oz 8SM, 2oz 20vol developer
Accent 1- Kenra Creative, equal parts Blue and Violet
Accent 2- Kenra Creative, equal parts Blue and Teal
"I've been wanting to mix our reds with the Silver Metallics," says Hullum. "I love how the RV and SM complimented each other in the formulation and the Teal 'smoked out' the Blue. The overall look is a cool Violet Red with hints of blue/silver tones. I absolutely LOVE how this turned out!"
The back mannequin formulations-
Foundation - 1oz 6R, 1oz 7SM, 2oz 20vol developer
Anchor - 1oz 7R, 1oz 7SM, 2oz 20vol developer
Accent 1- No Ammonia Lightener 20vol developer
Accent 2 - Kenra Creative, equal parts Pink and Red
Glaze Formula - Demi-permanent, 1oz 10B, 1/8oz 6R, 2 1/4oz 9vol developer
"Again, you can see I wanted to play with Silver Metallics and Red. I think my favorite color was the glaze formulation. It created a beautiful blush blonde on top of a metallic red foundation with hints of red and pink from the Creatives. The picture really does not do it justice!"
