Go green this Earth Day, April 22!

Environmental and Climate Literacy, the campaign for this year’s Earth Day, focuses on education with toolkits you can download from earthday.org and a March for Science on the Washington Mall. Earth Day is always on April 22, which this year falls on a Saturday. The crowd for the March for Science in Washington, D.C., will gather at 8am, and a Teach-In is scheduled for 10am.
Calling education “the foundation for progress,” the message at earthday.org states: “We need to empower everyone with the knowledge to inspire action in defense of environmental protection. Environmental and climate literacy is the engine not only for creating green voters and advancing environmental and climate laws and policies but also for accelerating green technologies and jobs.” If you register an Earth Day event, you will receive promotion and advice.
