Kevin Jonas, Special Guest DJ C-Squared (Connor Cruise, son of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman) and American Music Awards Best New Artist winner Hot Chelle Rae headlined the star-studded Give Back Hollywood "Night of Miracles" American Music Awards benefit in Hollywood, which was co-sponsored by Matrix.

Matrix Artistic Directors Ammon Carver and Nick Stenson were on hand, manning the Beauty Lounge, where they offered touch-ups and hair care and styling recommendation to celebrity guests‚ including Jonas, Twilight's Boo Boo Stewart and recording artists Estelle, Joanna "JoJo" Levesque and Jasmine Villegas. In anticipation of the American Music Awards, Carver created an awards-worthy hair cut on Best New Artist Winner Hot Chelle Rae Band Member Ian Keaggy.
Matrix invited fans to follow the event on Twitter and donated $250 to the Children's Miracle Network every time an attendee Tweeted about the event. By the end of the event, Matrix had helped Give Back Hollywood raise $100,000 for the Children's Miracle Network.

"The Give Back Hollywood organization is about celebrities taking time out from their busy schedules to give back as often as they can. In the same way, stylists give back every day—to their clients, their colleagues and their communities."
The Give Back Hollywood Foundation "Miracle of Music" pre-American Music Awards benefit was designed to leverage the celebrity fundraising power of the actors, musicians and celebrities who attended the event at Siren Studios in Hollywood. Guests filmed public service announcements and leveraged their social media followings to support Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and their Millions of Miracles Campaign. The campaign raises funds for more than 170 children's hospitals across the nation. Matrix and hairdressers everywhere proudly support Give Back Hollywood as they "Create Everyday Miracles" with the Children's Miracle Network.
