"This color was MINT to be! My client came to me with platinum blonde and a level 7 regrowth of about 3/4 inch. My first step was to lift her regrowth using Paul Mitchell Dual Purpose Lightener 20 volume with Olaplex. I put a cap on her head so the lightener doesn't dry out and she processed for 20-25 minutes with heat. Then rinsed her & put step 2 of Olaplex on for 5 minutes. This is our normal ritual when we lift her regrowth to platinum and I normally tone with Paul Mitchell's UTP 10 vol for 5 minutes but I didn't this day since we were gonna spice things up a bit with some MINT." The hair was rinsed and dried completely and ready for COLOR:

MIDSHAFT/ENDS:
Formula 1: 9.5-43 Schwarzkopf Igora Royal Pearlescence and pinch of Luminescence Green Flash
Formula 2: 9.6-43 Schwarzkopf Igora Royal Pearlescence
"I parted in the basic 4 sections on the head and took diagonal sections throughout the hair as I was applying the color."
Step 1: Paint the deeper green, base formula, on roots. Drag some down more than others to create more depth in certain areas where desired.
Step 2: Alternate Formula 1 and 2 on the midshaft and ends melting it into the base color. "I kept the Formula #2 pieces next to her face so it was soft and light.
Step 3: Process for 30 minutes.
"Once rinsed out, I gave her a blowout and soft wave using a 1 1/4 inch curling iron. I love when colors like this have movement to them so you can see all the depth. This process was a breeze since my client was already a platinum girl."
