Mirabella Beauty's Face for Fall 2014
Mirabella Beauty introduces their new face for fall, highlighting neutral eyes, berry lips and orange accents as seen on fall runways. Mirabella Creative Director Amber Bowen shares her tips on perfecting the look.
Bowen recommends beginning with Mirabella’s new hydrating and soothing CC Crème. Available in three universal shades, this product perfects, protects and renews skin. After applying this base layer, Bowen suggests Latte Swirl Brilliant Highlighter to emphasize cheekbones.
“Once you’ve applied the CC Crème and Brilliant Highlighter, you’ll have a beautiful template,” explains Bowen. “For the eyes, I recommend keeping the look neutral by layering Semiformal and Gilded Eye Colours. This blend of tawny and iridescent shimmer will give lids a clean, fresh finish.
“With a neutral eye, there’s more freedom to play around with color on the lip and cheeks,” continues Bowen. “Rich berry hues are great for the season; new Scarlet Sparkle Colour Vinyl lipstick is my top pick. This shade is highly-pigmented, super-glossy, and will last through the day with extended 10-hour wear.”
To finish the look, Radiant Blush Colour Duo offers an orange matte hue to add a pop of color to the cheeks. This blush palette also features a dark mauve powder that can be used on eyes to easily transition the neutral look from day to night.
“The finished look takes its cue from the runways, where burgundy, coral and strong earth tones were seen,” adds Bowen. “Berry is a new trend for fall, while orange is being carried through from spring. The neutral eye and highlight balances the two.”
