Hair Visions International held its Transformation Expo 2016 March 6-8, 2016, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The event brought together stylists, owners, distributors and media to learn more about what's coming up for the multifaceted brand (OnRite, Gemtress, UltraTress, Simplicity and TressAllure all fall under the Hair Visions umbrella). Things kicked off with a welcome party Sunday night, continued with education opportunities and a gala honoring On Rite Founder Andy Wright on Monday, and a final runway presentation on Tuesday.

"Your passion helps us all to come together in a unified group," said Hair Visions International President David Schwartz. "See where the customers are going, and get there first."

Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the world of trichology, which Hair Visions is very involved in via its partnership with the Head First hair and scalp health program. HairVisions sees trichology, the study and science of scalp care, as both an important category as well as a lucrative one; according to Lance Centofanti, international VP of marketing, 50 percent of men show signs of hairloss by 40, and 40 percent of women show signs by the same age.

Courses were offered in wig cutting (with NAHA winner Eli Mancha), website development, social media, customer loyalty programs and more. The expo ended with a runway presentation with Pretty Woman and James Bond-themed styles that attendees helped create.

"Education is the key to developing and transforming your work," said International VP of Sales Rhonda McCarthy. "Every trendy look can be delivered to people with hairloss."
