HIGHLIGHTS: Winn Claybaugh, founder and co-owner of Paul Mitchell the School, livened up the room with his presentation and snippets from his book: "Be Nice (or Else!)". Through his empowering speech, Claybaugh was able to remind the audience on the importance of boosting the morale of those who you surround yourself with in a work environment. As Winn stated, "Your habits form your character and your character determines your destiny."
Following Claybaugh was Angela Noviello,Director of the Esthetics Division, Milano Estetica Cosmetic Surgery & Medical Spa and Italian Director and National Educator of Oncology Esthetics. With her presentation "Pioneering Oncology Esthetics", Noviello shared her experiences with practicing Oncology esthetics in Italy, and how this field has changed her life. With the utmost sincerity, Noviello expressed how being able to help cancer patients feel beautiful again has been a gratifying experience as a skincare professional.
Repêchage CEO and Founder Lydia Sarfati presented Seaweed Rx, which highlighted the science behind Repêchage's number one ingredient: seaweed. Sarfati covered the structure of seaweed and how it's composition is both nourishing and rejuvenating for the skin. As Sarfati stated, "We need to start skincare intensive treatments for the body. For many years we have focused on peeling the skin, but how about rebuilding the skin we have? The skin is the largest orange in our body - it deserves our attention."
