In five easy steps, recreate this romantic look with a city-slicking edge seen at Cushnie Et Ochs Fall/Winter 2014 Collection. “My inspiration for the Cushnie Et Ochs Collection this season was the concept of ‘reflection’” said Antonio Corral Calero, Moroccanoil Artistic Director. “These looks are super smooth, elegant and sophisticated, and they accent a beautifully shaped hair cut and vibrant hair color. They’re made even bolder through the use of shine-enhancing Moroccanoil hair products and a sleek blow-dry,” said Calero.
GET THE LOOK:
STEP 1: Start by preparing the hair with Moroccanoil Treatment, using Moroccanoil Treatment Light for blonde or fine-haired models.
"Moroccanoil Treatment was the key to the success of this look. It conditions, adds a natural reflective shine, and creates the core effect of the style.”
STEP 2: Next, apply Moroccanoil Root Boost mixed with Moroccanoil Treatment directly at the roots.
"Since I wanted the hair to look very sleek but still vital, I used Moroccanoil Volumizing Mousse throughout the rest of the hair to add body.”
STEP 3: After making a deep, side part, blow dry one-inch vertical sections using a round brush (with smaller sections taken for finer hair). Then roll the curls over the head downwards and pin. Spray with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong and allow to cool.
STEP 4: After releasing the set, brush the hair down the back and behind the ears.
"To prevent any fly-aways, I applied a bit of Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream on the palm of my hand, and gently patted it onto the surface of the hair.”
STEP 5: Then lightly brush the strands to make sure they are completely smooth. Finally, secure the look with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong.
"For a touch of subtle bounce, I used a 1-1/4-inch marcel curling iron on the ends."
