The shop I am working in has the barber’s names on the corner of the opposite wall mirrors. I am the new guy in the shop. My name is not on the mirror. Yet.
Clients ask about the missing name. I have taken to telling them that as the “new guy” I am on probation. I explain the policy is that you do not get your name on the mirror until you have done 1,000 haircuts.
I figure when I get to about 850 haircuts I will go to the store and buy the letters.
Stay tuned. I will post a picture when my name goes up on the mirror.
