SEARCHMODERN invited Celeb Luxury to our New York City studios to demonstrate the power of its newest Colorwash system, designed to add color while cleansing and stop color from visible washout and fade.
Although shampoos that stop color from fading aren’t necessarily new, the latest technology now allows colorists to create and maintain shades like they never have in the past. New delivery systems and applications allow both the salon pro and the client to control color, both in salon and between visits.
The new Colorwash system by Celeb Luxury is all the buzz. “Not only does it keep color from fading, it also creates new shades and enhances existing shades,” says salon and school owner Leon Tringali.
Tringali should know. As Celeb Luxury artistic director color, Tringali has been testing the shampoos—which founder Leland Hirsch puts in the colorposit category of hair color—and using it on clients at his Leon Studio One Salons in upstate New York. Designed to define, refine and adjust color, the system is offering more control. “The Colorwash system is a game-changer. It doesn’t take the client away from the salon—it gives her flexibility between visits,” Tringali says. “Previous color-enhancing products didn’t have the depth of tone that’s now available in the Colorwash system." And while this system is designed to be more predictable, Tringali points out that you still have to know how to use it.
Available in two lines—Gem Lites, 10 shades for traditional color, and Viral, seven shades for bright fashion tones—to give results that will be rich and vibrant and help take color services to the next level.
