The Libertine Spring/Summer 2015 collection featured a girl celebrating "The Morning After" and teams from Catwalk by TIGI and CND jumped on the inspiration to bring that girl to life for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.

MODERN first caught up with Nick Irwin, Global Creative Director, CATWALK by TIGI who was inspired by “London girls from the dirty sixties” and the “90’s raver.” According to Irwin, the SS15 Libertine girl is always game for a fun night out on the town, and regularly dons ‘last night’s’ bright and flashy (and beaded!) garb in her daily fashion.  Irwin developed an effortless, textured hair look that speaks perfectly to Libertine’s party girl.

Overall Look: Morning-after mane

Step 1:  Prep the hair by applying CATWALK by TIGI Session Series Transforming Dry Shampoo to create a piece-y yet soft texture.

Step 2:   Lightly spritz CATWALK by TIGI Bodifying Spray at the roots and messily massage with fingers to add lift to the crown .

Step 3: Spritz the same spray to the surface of the hair to create a light, effortless bounce without the weight

Step 4:  Use fingers to scrunch the hair and add uneven texture

MODERN then bumped into CND's Jan Arnold who offered an overview of the AH-MAZING nails created for this fun girl. Check out the video to learn more from Arnold herself.
