Inspired by Cleopatra in the desert sunset, the hair seen at Cushnie et Ochs' Spring/Summer 2015 collection evoked an ancient Egyptian mythology and powerful sexiness synonymous to the female icon. Featuring a strong geometric cat eye look, the sleek ponytail styled by Antonio Corral Calero for Moroccanoil was the perfect compliment. The severeness of the slicked sides allowed for the makeup to take center stage, while the double elastics at the back offered a unique visual element.
GET THE LOOK
Step One: Blow dry hair smooth using a Moroccanoil Boar Bristle Brush and finish with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray.
Step Two: Pull hair into a tight ponytail at the crown using the Moroccanoil Boar Bristle Paddle Brush and secure with an elastic.
Step Three: Next, take 1" section of ponytail, spray with Moroccanoil Heat Styling Protection for long-lasting hold, and wrap the hair around the elastic and secure.
Step Four: Using Moroccanoil's Titanium Ceramic Hair Styling Iron straighten the ponytail in 1" sections for a super-straight, sleek style.
Step Five: With a second elastic, secure hair 1 1/2" from base. Gently loosen the section between the elastics to create voluminous, "puffed" element at the top of the ponytail. Pin elastic to hair underneath.
