Jason, a student at Arrojo Cosmetology School, not only has a passion for hair, but he also has a passion for music! Jason, who was a dancer most of his life, filmed this cosmetology-inspired song/video six weeks into his education at Arrojo, but started writing the lyrics just one week in.

When I was in cosmetology school, I had the absolute BEST time with my school buddies while on breaks, and before and after school (OK, maybe we had a little too much fun DURING school, but hey, it's a lot of hours to be professional ALL the time!). School was a blast, and I really miss it... so when I came across this video created by Jason, a student at NYC's Arrojo Cosmetology School, it made me laugh so hard and I knew I had to share it.

I spotted this hilarious video shared on MODERN SALON's Facebook page and it is a MUST SEE!
Here are some of my favorite lyrics to the song, to the tune of Beyonce's Single Ladies.
Oh, Milady! Oh, Milady. Oh, Milady! Oh, Milady...
Now pick your books up!
Cosmetology, oh Milady, the study of skin, nails and hair.
Decided to do it.
Now I'm gonna learn it,
to receive my State Board license.
It's all in here.
Yes, it's quite severe,
so focus with all your attention.
The study of theory
No need to query.
Milady explains it all in here.
'Cause when you study this become a cosmetologist. 'Cause when you study this become a cosmetologist.
Just practice all your skills and you'll pass this.
And when you're done with this you're gonna be a stylist.
Woah oh oh oh...
It's hygiene prevention,
disinfection,
don't skip on the direction.
You have to keep it clean, and just pristine,
Material Safety Data Sheets explain it.
And when you're done with this you're gonna be a stylist.
And when you're done with this you're gonna be a stylist.
Just practice all your skills and you'll pass this.
Woah oh oh oh...
