Connie Delamora (@ConnieCouture) of Studio One Salon, Kennewick, Washington, says, "My client came in to me with a grown out balayage from summer. She was ready for change. I first started by removing about 6 inches to have a better idea of where I would be painting with lightener."

Here Delamora shares the details for the color:

Step 1: Weave out some pieces to create a highlighted effect. Apply Kenra No Ammonia lightener with 30 volume and Olaplex.

Step 2: Process for 25 minutes, lifting to a level 7. Apply Wella Post Color Treatment. Rinse and towel dry.

Step 3: Apply Kenra Demi 4N & 4RB with 9 volume to her roots to create a shadow. Then apply Kenra Demi 6RV & 9 volume from midshaft to ends.

Step 4: Process for 30 minutes and then shampoo and condition.
