The ORIBE LaFama Backstage opening night wrapped up to more than a standing ovation. Most of the 1500 salon professionals in the audience raced to the stage to honor Oribe himself and grab one of the giant beach balls that were tossed throughout the auditorium.
The show itself was a feast. LaFama, to honor Oribe's Latin roots, was chock full of vignettes, some honoring celebrities, religion, fashion, beauty, dance and so much more. A special performance by Carmen Carrera was a highlight for many.
LaFama was totally "Oribe Unleashed". The artist was given full reign to create a show to inspire and excite. Mission accomplished.
