On January 25 at the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City, Paul Mitchell Neon and Paul Mitchell Schools partnered with TLC’s Say Yes To The Prom to empower high school students with a day of mentoring and makeovers. Future Professionals from Paul Mitchell The School Sherman Oaks, Paul Mitchell The School Costa Mesa, and Paul Mitchell The School Pasadena provided hair and makeup services for the students who participated in the special program which was taped to air on TLC Network on April 1.
In addition to gifting students with their perfect prom look, the program also used the milestone occasion to prepare students for college and careers. Representatives from a number of organizations attended to offer students internships, scholarships, mentorships, and networking opportunities.
Special guests included TLC’s Monte Durham, fashion icon Betsey Johnson and JPMS Vice Chairman Michaeline DeJoria.
