To get Lucy's look, Celebrity Stylist of the Margaret Maldonado Agency Scott Cunha gave her a voluminous blowout using the T3 AntiGravity Barrel Brush and the T3 Evolution Dryer. Using the T3 Fahrenheit450 flat iron in an up and down “S shape” motion, he added a textured wave around the face. The iron’s rounded edges made this technique possible.
“I wanted Lucy’s look to last all night, so it was important to add some tighter curls in back.” To create these tighter curls, Cunha switched to a clampless curling iron (T3 SinglePass Whirl) and wrapped a few sections horizontally over the barrel of the iron. “Holding the iron horizontally while you wrap the hair around it results in a much more natural looking wave.”
To finish the look, Cunha added a texturing paste to help piece out sections of the hair, playing up Lucy’s sexy new shag style. “I’m thrilled—she loves it, and is obsessed!”
