Pivot Point Presents Gira Latina Creative Jam in Mexico City
Pivot Point International has announced Gira Latina (Latin Tour) with World Supreme Champion Manuel Rodriguez headlining a team of four platform artists to educate, entertain and inspire students and salons professionals in eight Latina-centric cities from Miami to El Salvador. The tour occurs November 3 – 4, 2013 at Polyforum Siqueiros, Mexico City.

The tour highlights trends from Pivot Point’s Meta 052 Collection, a program designed to keep salons and designers at the forefront of industry trends with cut and color trends and advanced techniques interpreted by Pivot Point artists.

CREATIVE JAM – GIRA LATINA
The premiere eight-city Pivot Point Gira Latina culminates in a two-day Creative Jam in Mexico City hosted by Pivot Point International Creative Director Yolly ten Koppel of the Netherlands. This will mark the third Creative Jam with Yolly hosting and the first outside the Netherlands.
Participants willxplore the creative process in hair design and how to translate it into hair fashion for clients. The Creative Jam will draw from the talent of globally recognized artists and explore fashion trends along with inspiration in art, architecture and nature.
The Gira Latina artistic team includes Manuel Rodriguez (U.S.), Yolly ten Koppel (Netherlands), Severine LeBrun (Spain) and Giovanni Sepede (Peru). The team will showcase the highly popular Meta 052 along with seminars and workshops in one- and two-day formats plus an exclusive long hair workshop.

Gira Latina One-Day, Hands-On workshops are taught by Manuel Rodriguez. He will help designers explore three different cuts and finishing variations from the latest trends. These fierce but feminine styles, designed by the Pivot Point Artistic Team, will allow participants to perfect styling skills and precision cutting techniques.

Gira Latina One-Day Long Hair Workshop in Lima Peru, October 20, 2013 will help designers prepare for the holiday season or refresh design skills with Pivot Point’s quick and easy up-do hair design techniques. Manuel Rodriguez will teach and train finishing techniques to delight party-going clients.
Gira Latina Two-Day Workshops in Bolivia, Ecuador, Columbia and El Salvador are intensive hands-on sessions to allow designers to dive deep into Pivot Point’s inspirational education and stunning designs. This artistic training immerses attendees in how to see, think, create and adapt the latest trend designs for any client.
