Put your pedal to the metal on your creative-color looks! This summer, PRAVANA launches a multi-tasking collection of VIVIDS and ChromaSilk EXPRESS TONES in three matching, wearable, metallic shades as part of its Precious Metals collection of colors.
The hues from each line come in Rose Gold, Moody Blue and Smokey Silver. EXPRESS TONES and VIVIDS can work in conjunction with one another for even more beautiful results and be layered for longevity. Tone with ammonia-free EXPRESS TONES to even out the porosity of the hair and creates a base hue that preps the hair for a more vibrant tonality.
For multi-dimensional coloring, allow the EXPRESS TONES to process as long or as quickly as desired to achieve a variation of tones and depths, ranging from a subtle shimmer to a deep tone.
VIVIDS shades are applied to clean, dry hair—no developer needed—with a processing time between 20 and 30 minutes at room temperature, then gently shampoo, condition and rinse using cool water.
With EXPRESS TONES, mix with Zero Lift Developer at a 1:1 ½ ratio. Apply to damp, towel dried hair and process for up to five minutes, depending on the desired outcome. Rinse and condition, then dry and style as desired. If applying VIVIDS after, make sure hair is dry.
The following looks are created with hues from the Precious Metals collection and show the range of looks—from subtle to full-out whimsical—that are possible.
