THE VISION: Powerful red and copper tones create strong geometric shapes, revealing the most versatile aspects of a short cut.

FORMULAS/APPLICATION: Formula 1: CHI Ionic Permanent Shine Hair Color 5CG with 10-volume CHI Color Generator, mixed in a 1:1 ratio. Formula 2: 6RR with 10-volume CHI Color Generator, mixed in a 1:1 ratio Formula 3: 7C with 10-volume CHI Color Generator, mixed in a 1:1 ratio

STEP 1: Create two diagonal-back partings on either side of the head that meet at the occipital bone, just above the highest point on the ear. Create diagonal-forward partings below the diagonal-back ones. Apply Formula 1 to the back section and 2 to 3 inches above the ear, covering all the hair under the diagonal-forward and diagonal-back partings.

STEP 2: Apply Formula 2 to the first diagonal-forward section, and Formula 3 to the diagonal-back one.

STEP 3: Continue alternating the formulas in similarly placed, back-to back foils, as you work back and complete both sides. Stop when you reach the occipital. Process for 30 to 45 minutes.
