Blondes have always been synonymous with summer. Think surfer girls with sun-kissed locks riding the waves in Malibu. Lisa Finucane, Director of Sales and Education for Satin Hair Color, predicts a mix of highs and lows, what she calls sunny brown-blonde, as the weather warms up.

Imagine a chocolate-brown base with brighter pieces framing the face. Finucane compares it to a melt with darker roots and lighter color from midshaft to ends. How To Achieve the Perfect Summer Pink:

1. Begin by pre-lightening the midsections and ends of hair using Satin Blue Powder Lightener Bleach paired with Satin Hair Color’s 40 Volume Developer.
