How many products does it take to create truly beautiful hair? The answer isn’t in the number, it’s in the performance, the technology, and the ability for products to work together to meet a stylist’s needs. The Sexy Hair Visionary Team, an elite squad of stylists, collaborated to develop a new streamlined collection from Sexy Hair, artistrypro. This seven-product lineup is all they say you need to fill a stylist’s kit or shelves.
“Two years ago, I was asked if I could do anything, what would it be and artistrypro represents the answer to those two ‘asks’,” explains Stephanie Polansky, global director of education and shows, Sexy Hair. “I wanted to have a team of artists who created inspiring content for the brand and for them to each bring a specific skill set. And, second, I wanted to have a product line only sold to hairdressers. With our Visionary Team and artistrypro, we have both.”
Because artistrypro falls under the Sexy Hair umbrella, it benefits from being backed up with stellar education, online training, marketing support, and great deals. It also arrives at an opportune time for the industry; after many weeks of shutdowns, stylists will be looking to reboot their business by working more efficiently and cost-effectively. This slim portfolio has terrific shelf presence while also providing a full styling regimen for stylist use and client care. Plus, it’s pro-only and offers them something special to retail to their returning clients. The sleek, industrial design of the products makes for an eye-catching display.
“The recycled aluminum and steel sustainable packaging of the line represents our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint,” comments Sloane LaMartina, director of corporate communications, Sexy Hair. “Beginning this summer, all Sexy Hair packaging will be rolling out with 95% PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastic.”
The products in artistrypro are infused with amino acids that penetrate the cortex to strengthen and condition from the inside out. These naturally occurring protein building blocks become compromised after chemical services and through the aging process. “All the formulas have keratin amino acids to help restore hair health and to help repair,” Polansky says. “These amino acids mean the products will distribute more evenly, provide more moisture, help reduce breakage and contribute to better hair, overall.”
The artistrypro Clean Palette Shampoo and Base Coat Conditioner were created to work for any hair type so backbar setup is easy. Avant-Guard Heat Protection & Finishing Spray looks to be the hero of the line, offering four things in one—thermal and heat protection, hold, and finishing shine.
The rest of the line consists of:
Cutting Edge Light Weight Primer Conditioner
Infused with amino acids to help add moisture, shine and color longevity, this formula smooths strands for an easy, glide through blowout experience.
Construct Root Lift Spray
This non-aerosol root lift spray provides long-lasting volume and frizz control.
Tactile Dry Texture Spray
Provides added texture for up to 24 hours and buildable volume.
Remodel Dry Shampoo
Oil absorbing formula provides texture with transparent application.
