Submit entries for Wella-sponsored CosmoProf's Fashion Frenzy 2014 by June 30 to have the chance to compete in a live competition in New York City, receive mentorship from Luis Alvarez of Aquage and Rocky Vitelli of Farouk, and win a $500 CosmoProf shopping spree plus your winning look featured in an upcoming issue of Cosmoprof's Shopping Guide.
Here's the timeline for the competition:
-May 1 to June 30: Fashion Frenzy online entries accepted
-June 1-30: Online voting
-July 21: Finalists announced
-October 19 & 20: Finalists will compete at the Intercoiffure's Fall Atelier Symposium in New York City
Six finalists in total will be flown to NYC for the live competition in front of members of Intercoiffure. Three are chosen by online votes, and three are chosen by a panel of judges.
Most importantly, this competition gets your name out there before you've even started as a full-time stylist in a salon, meaning you get to kick-start your professional career in a big way. Last year's winner, Jessica Fair, was approached by two elite salons immediately following the announcement that she won Fashion Frenzy 2013.
