On April 11th at Salon Capella in Studio City, CA a salon full of stylists were introduced to Simply Organic Beauty and their new Oway organic hair color, care and styling products. Simply Organic Beauty, one of the world’s largest distributors of professional organic product lines, has combined forces with Oway, an ItalianAbased green beauty company, to bring their products to salons across North America. Stylists were educated on biodynamic ingredients, green chemistry and introduced to a holistic approach to hair.
“The core of our mission is to provide professional hairdressers with high performance products which maximize the use of gentle, nourishing and natural ingredients, while minimizing the need for harsh chemicals,” says Scott Mitchell, CEO of Simply Organic Beauty. “Oway shares this same ethos and respect for hairdressers’ health, their clients and careers, and we’re proud to count them amongst our prestigious product lines.”

Oway began as a pure essential oil company over 100 years ago and has continued to be a pioneer in the organic beauty industry ever since.
With a holistic approach to hair, Oway’s products are not only rich in biodynamic botanicals and organic plant butters, but also made with certified fair trade ingredients and infinitely recyclable materials. Oway’s ingredients are grown on 50,000 sqm of biodynamic farmland in Bologna, Italy, where over 12 medicinal plants are harvested without any pesticides, tractors or solvents – making them the first ‘Farm to Chair’ professional hair company. “We’re constantly searching for brands with an authentic approach to nonAtoxic salon products.
As soon as we witnessed Oway’s devotion to ingredient transparency and green chemistry, we knew they shared our same mission of changing salons for the better,” says Simply Organic Education Director, Rebecca Gregory.
During the in-salon class, stylists observed the results of Oway color on live models and were able to ask questions, sample products and meet with the Simply Organic Beauty education team.
Now exclusively available from Simply Organic Beauty, Oway is a complete system of organic color, care, scalp, perm and styling products formulated with high concentrations of biodynamic and organic extracts and the least amount of chemicals possible.
