Talia Joy Castellano, a hero to young cancer patients and make-up artists everywhere, and honorary CoverGirl, died recently from Leukemia and Neuroblastoma. The 13-year-old You TubeStar was a viral voice for cancer patients everywhere, becoming internet-famous by making YouTube tutorial videos that taught viewers how to apply make-up. During her demos she also publicly shared how cancer treatment was affecting her body.

More than 700,000 people have subscribed to Castellano’s You Tube Channel. Five days before she passed away, Castellano created a bucket list of 74 items and posted it on her Facebook page, Angels for Talia. Her hand-written list included things like, “Making my own lipstick,” “Getting really tan,” “Getting a tattoo,” and “Taking a make-up class.”

Devoted fans everywhere saw the list and supported her by fulfilling her “bucket list” of dreams and goals. The campaign was so successful, that it got her an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. While on the show, Castellano was surprised with an honorary make-up table and a $20,000 check.

“Having cancer has been an amazing yet horrible journey,” said Castellano. “Yet every journey has an end.”  Help support Castellano by posting photos of you helping her fulfill her bucket list using the hashtag #taliasbucketlist.
