LASHoff, theeyelash industry's first annual contest for eyelash stylists, opens to submissions November 1st. 2016 marks the 6th year that NovaLash will award this highly coveted honor to the most talented stylists, helping to develop their business and elevating awareness for both stylists and the public on proper application techniques and the proper appearance of a beautifully applied set of NovaLash eyelash extensions. The title "NovaLash LASHoff Artist of the Year" will also prequalify the winner to compete in Lash Wars hosted by the National Eyelash Education and Safety Association (NEESA).
Rules: LASHoff is divided into two categories of winners. LASH Artist of the Year and Fans' Choice of the Year. LASH Artist of the Year consists of Stylists sending in a video entry that showcases the correct and very thorough way of applying NovaLash Eyelash Extensions by using the NovaLash Technique; glove technique, three length bonding technique, materials, Platinum Bond, one-to-one bonding, isolation, separation and educating a client before and after the application. One contestant will be chosen by a panel of judges to be crowned NovaLash LASH Artist of the Year.

Fans' Choice of the Year consists of Stylists sending in their best Before and After application photos using NovaLash products. Fans' Choice will be narrowed down to 3 finalists by LASHoff judges and will then let the public decide via Social Media and novalash.com/lashoffcontest on who gets crowned Fans' Choice of the Year. Voting will last approximately 2 weeks.
The contest judges are comprised of an elite and highly experienced group of Advanced Master stylists, education professionals, industry insiders and top NEESA executives. Our own CEO, Sophy Merszei is also very involved in the decision making process as well. The Judges not only look for who has the "best" set of lashes but who applies them correctly, what products they use, what they teach their clients, and overall spokesmanship. The skillful use of spokesmanship is key, as the winners will serve as a Brand Ambassador of NovaLash for that year.
Prizes: Winners will receive up to $10,000 in Cash, Prizes, Travel, Media and PR opportunities! The title "NovaLash LASHoff Artist of the Year" will also prequalify the winner to compete in Lash Wars hosted by NEESA in Las Vegas 2016.. Marketing, Advertising and PR opportunities will be given to help the reach of their business. A photo shoot opportunity may also be included in the package and a spread announcing the winner in a prestigious national beauty and lifestyle magazine. The winner will also prequalify to compete in Lash Wars in Las Vegas hosted by NEESA.
