The Perfect Bridal Updo: The How To

Step 1: On clean, blow dried hair, curl the entire head to add texture and movement. At the front hairline, isolate two back-to-back 1 1/2-inch sections.

Step 2: Pull back the remaining hair into a low ponytail. Subsection the ponytail into 4-5 sections. Tease at the base, then pull apart to widen and smooth. Then, twist the subsections into barrel-shaped rolls that will sit at the nape of the style. Pin the ends into the center of each roll to hide the ends.

Step 3: Then, take two side panels that frame the face and overlap them, on each side. This will be from the rearest isolated section from Step 1.

Step 4: On the top of the head, create 7 sections from the remaining hair isolated in Step 1. Use those sections to place strategically on the top of the head, bricklayering from side to side, and laying down in "S"-shaped patterns. Use hairspray to finish the look.
