Amanda Bom-Fritz (@hairbyamandasthlm) of Stockholm, Sweden, posted this amazing makeover and we had to know more. "My best friend called me and told me she colored half her hair purple and sent me a picture." Bom-Fritz packed her bags and headed home for the rescue!
"She had about 1 cm [less than 1/2 inch] outgrowth on her natural level 8 hair," says Bom-Fritz. "The mid lengths were a washed out, uneven purple color, with about 2 cm [less than one inch] orange/yellow leading to the previously bleached ends."
FORMULATION:
Formula 1: Schwarzkopf Vario Blond extra power bleach mixed with 20 volume
Formula 2: Schwarzkopf Vario Blond extra power bleach mixed with 20 & a little 30 volume
Formula 3: Schwarzkopf Vario Blond extra power bleach with 6 volume
Formula 4: Schwarzkopf Igora Royal 9,5-49 with 10 volume
APPLICATION:
Step 1: Apply formula 1 with foils on the purple mid lengths avoiding the roots and ends. When application complete, apply formula 2 on the spots that didn't get bleach. This should take approximately one hour.
Step 2: To make the ends pop, apply formula 3. This is also used to blend the roots with the rest. Process for 5-7 minutes then rinse.
Step 3: Apply formula 4 all over the hair and process for 20 minutes.
