Danielle Astle (@daniellehotseatsalon) of the Hot Seat salon, San Diego, California, says her new client came to her because she was tired of her ombre, finding it too yellow and too dramatic! "She wanted something more subtle that would work better with her skin tone."
Here Astle shares how she transformed this head of hair in 2.5 hours:
STEP 1: Lift the root area with a Schwarzkopf 6-12 with 20 volume developer.
STEP 2: Highlight in foils with Artego bleach with 20 volume developer.
STEP 3: Go in and randomly lowlight between foils with a mix of Schwarzkopf 6-6 and 7-57. Process under low heat for 25 minutes. Rinse and shampoo.
STEP 4: Tone at the bowl with Redken Shades EQ 7p and 8v. Process for 10 minutes and then rinse.
