Fashion colors continue to trend in the world of haircolor, and many clients are finding variations of the once-intimidating colors to be more approachable and wearable when paired with natural shades.

Get the color: Double-take violet colormelt
Formula 1: 1/2 tube Pravana Vivids Magenta + 1/2 tube Pravana Vivids Neon Pink
Formula 2: 1/2 tube Pravana Vivids Violet + 1/4 tube Pravana Red + 1/4 tube Pravana Vivids Neon Blue
STEP 1: Combine one Malibu C Crystal Gel Wellness Remedy Packet with 2 oz. water in a mixing jar. Shake to mix until gel is formed. Set aside.
STEP 2: Shampoo hair with Malibu C Un-Do-Goo Shampoo.
STEP 3: Towel-dry hair and apply Crystal Gel Wellness Remedy to damp hair from root to tip to prep hair for chemical service.
Pro tip: Save about 1/4 of the Crystal Gel Wellness Remedy for use after balayage has processed to stop the oxidative action of the peroxide and help preserve integrity of the hair.
STEP 4: Thoroughly work Crystal Gel Wellness Remedy into hair to ensure distribution and complete saturation.
STEP 5: Bag and process under heat using a hooded dryer or heat cap for 45 minutes.
STEP 6: Rinse hair with warm water, then shampoo out Crystal Gel Wellness Remedy (Malibu C Color Wellness Shampoo recommended). Comb out hair to prep for balayage.
STEP 7: Balayage mid-shaft to ends with TIGI True Light mixed with 40-volume developer. Process 15 minutes (no heat).
STEP 8: Smudge Crystal Gel Wellness Remedy between mid-shaft and ends to stop oxidative action of peroxide in that area and create a blended look. Allow ends to continue processing 10-15 minutes (no heat).
STEP 9: Shampoo out (try Malibu C Un-Do-Goo Shampoo) and rough dry until hair is nearly 100-percent dry.
STEP 10: Apply Formula 1 to mid-shaft area and then apply Formula 2 from mid-shaft to ends. Process 25 minutes (no heat).
STEP 11: Shampoo out (Malibu C Color Wellness Shampoo recommended) then follow with Malibu C Miracle Repair Reconstructor processed at room temperature for 5 minutes.
STEP 12: Rinse and finish with desired cut/blowout/style.
