Joanna Rivera (@j0j0styles), owner of @nylahairstudiospringhill, Springhill, Florida, was thrilled with the opportunity to correct this dulled apricot design. "This was a first time guests who wasn’t happy with how her color came from her previous salon," says Rivera. "My starting canvas was a 7 warm tone with half inch of regrowth with some horizontal foiling on top at a level 9/10."
Here Rivera shares how she used the existing dimension to create a powerful finish:
Step 1: Touch up the root with 3VR Paul Mitchell The Color and apply SoRED RV from mid shaft to ends. Process for 35 minutes.
Step 2: Rinse out and apply Paul Mitchell 6RV to add depth and dimension. Process for 5 minutes.
Step 3: Shampoo twice with PM Post Color Protect Shampoo.
Step 4: Towel dry and apply Awapuhi Kera triplex treatment for 20 minutes.
Step 5: Shampoo & Condition with Awapuhi Lather Shampoo & Cream Rinse.
Step 6: Blow Dry & Style with Quick Slip, Fast Form, and Super Skinny while using a Paul Mitchell Neuro Dryer and styled using Neuro Style Flat iron.
