Misha Belfer, International creative director for Van Tibolli Corp., created a warm/cool mix for a stunning effect.

“When clients who have darker natural levels want vibrant reds, keep the base color close to natural and you’ll achieve less noticeable outgrowth,” Belfer says. “A variety of color placements can be used to create vibrancy, dimension and richness. For this particular look, I added a cool quality to the base color by using a Violet Mix Tone. This created a great backdrop for the vibrant, pre-lightened sections, which were toned with a warm Red Mix Tone. The combination of warm and cool reds creates a beautiful end result.”
