Step 1: Prep hair with ANTI.GRAVITY.SPRAY which provides weightless volume, heat protection and texture.
Step 2: Mist HAIR.RESORT.SPRAY into hair and roots to add support to style.
Step 3: Use TEXTURE.COMB to control root direction. Make horse shoe section for top of head, dropping the section one inch past the recession area.
Step 4: Section away hair on both sides of the head at ears, leaving the back out.
Step 5: Using one inch tong, heat the hair while holding it along the hairline, then transfer to KEVIN.MURPHY HAIR.CURLERS.

Step 6: Separate the section at ear into two vertical sections. Heat the hair paying special attention to the root area, as lift is needed.
Step 7: Immediately transfer to HAIR.CURLER, making sure to wind root area first.
Step 8: Release the top area, heat, then roll in to the Hair.CURLER.
Step 9: Leave hair to cool for 10 minutes. Hair must be completely cool to achieve full curl.
Step 10: Use TEXTURE.COMB to gently push hair back on itself to create massive volume.

Step 11: Using SEWING.KIT, tie hair into a ponytail with thread. The hair thread will prevent slippage.
Step 12: Use TEXTURE.COMB to create additional airy volume and secure this end with SEWING.KIT.
Step 13: Repeat this pattern and secure end. Lightly back brush top of head, without elevation.
Step 14: Once pleased with shape, use SEWING.KIT to secure in place.
Step 15: Attach thread to very end of ponytail and secure needle at the other end. Feed needle into first pocket of hair, then underneath the following pocket.

Step 16: Now that needle is woven thought hair, feed needle directly next to ponytail.
Step 17: Gently pull thread down and all hair will catch up on itself, creating the perfect messy updo.
