VexPro announces the launch of the groundbreaking AirPhysics designed to reduce wrist, shoulder and neck pain due to gun-type hair dryers. This hair dryer was created to alleviate the wrist, shoulder and neck pain caused by repetitive motion and strain, which all too frequently leads to the need for surgery.

“It’s time to throw the gun away," said Jeffrey Hall, veteran hair stylist and inventor of AirPhysics.

AirPhysics by VexPro is a revolutionary hair dryer with its “ready mode” motion sensor. When the membrane button is activated, the AirPhysics dryer automatically turns on when picked up without having to press any buttons. It can easily be set down on a counter alleviating the need to put the dryer underneath the hair stylists’ arm to free their hands.

The body position of a hair stylist while working is the foundation to a true classic blow dry. Hair stylists’ hands and arms frequently are in a severe position for 20 to 40 minutes at a time for 8 to 10 hours a day. This causes the arms to be elevated too high, which has been linked to rotator cuff issues. Simultaneously, the wrist is bent, which can leave fingers numb as the pain travels through the shoulder blades into the neck, a symptom often associated with carpal tunnel syndrome.

The AirPhysics dryer straightens out the wrist and lowers the shoulder putting the user’s hands in a rowing motion that is more of a natural body movement, relieving stress on the wrist and shoulder.
