Formulas:
1. Filler: Goldwell Repigmentation, 20ml Red and 20ml Copper with 80ml of water.
2. Base: Goldwell Colorance, 40ml 4N and 15ml 2A with 70ml dedicated, no-ammonia developer.
3: Prelightener: One scoop Goldwell Silk Lift with 30 ml 10-volume developer.
4. Toners: Caramel: Colorance, 25ml 7G and 15 ml 7N with 70ml of dedicated developer. Blonde: 30ml 8GB and 10ml of 7N with 70ml of developer. Red: 40ml 5R with 70ml of developer.
Steps to Success:
1. Apply filler to the faded highlights, brushing it on freehand. Wait six minutes, then wipe off.
2. Apply the new base, starting with the old highlighted area and working down to the ends. Process for 15 minutes then apply remaining base formula to the root area and process an additional 15 minutes. Rinse, shampoo and lightly condition the ends.
3. Dry the hair. Part off diagonally placed rectangular panels throughout the top, take paper-thin horizontal slices within the panels and brush on the pre-lightener. Process 25 minutes until the hair reaches Level 8. Rinse the foils, shampoo and towel dry.
4. Take the previous rectangular panels and divide each into three horizontal subsections, which will receive the three toners. On one side, apply caramel on top, blonde in the middle, red underneath. On the opposite side and in the fringe, reverse the toner order. Process for 20 minutes, rinse with luke-warm water and condition.
