MODERN invited Thomas Osborn, Bedhead by TIGI creative director and vice president of education and Richy Kandasamy, creative director/colorist, to the our studios to show how team TIGI is playing with the new Colour Trip line.
For model Jen, Kandasamy chose colors that are opposite, “but still work! I am going by her skin tone, which in this case is great and offers multiple opportunities.” Kandasamy chose to apply some reflective color to add tones of movement. A deeper base was enhanced by lighter, brighter tips. “The short hair really offered some fun options.
“The goal with the cut was to create a loose finish,” Osborn says. “The bit of length in the perimeter leaves an element of softness.” The fringe is left strong to serve as a focal point for the color.
