Beyond Facebook: Introducing Our Social Media Blogger
We know you're on Facebook but do you know how to use it to grow your business? Introducing Kelly Ehlers, a leader in social and mobile media for the salon and beauty industry.
It’s with great excitement that today I’m writing my first ‘official’ blog post for Modern Salon Media! As along-time admirer of the magazine and lover of all things hair and beauty, I’m looking forward to sharing my social and mobile media expertise with all of you.
I’m entrenched in the salon and beauty industry, working with salon owners, brands, top artists and academies across the country and what I’ve found is that most know they should be engaging on social media…but quite frankly aren’t sure where to start. That’s where my firm, Evoke Brand Strategies, and our education division, StyleSync.me come in.

My intent is for this blog to become your go-to resource for all of the answers. I’ll be posting weekly and writing a monthly column about the most applicable social media platforms and how you can apply those to your salon or brand. I’ll help you comb through the clutter to spark ideas and begin engaging with your customers to grow your business in today’s social society.
My passion for the industry is unmatched and in fact, part of my DNA. My mother was a salon owner for over 40 years and it’s fair to say I literally ‘grew up’ in the business. From dusting shelves to experimenting with every imaginable style throughout the years, the salon business is close to my heart and I feel very blessed to be part of it.
I promise to translate that passion and expertise in to relevant information that will make a difference in your business. Stay tuned for great insight – and along the way, feel free to reach out with any questions or comments, I’d love to hear from you.
As always, feel free to contact me at: kehlers@evokebrands.com with any questions or comments.
