Lady Gaga never quite did go the way of the trends. While stars like Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and others lighten and crop their strands, Gaga decided to get back to her darker, brunette roots.

“Mother Monster” tweeted as she transformed her signature platinum blonde hair into, what she calls, a new “Louis Vuitton brown,” a nearly copper shade of light brown. Photos from the big change shepherded by her stylist of several years, Frederic Aspiras, were also posted to her social networking site (littlemonsters.com), and the fan love has pouring in ever since.

But Golden Gaga isn’t all gone—the pop icon left a streak of her old blonde just above her left ear (which she decided to do away with just a few hours later).
Are we seeing a new trend for fall on the way? Gaga then tweeted a series of tips on how to get the color for fans who had been asking for info about the color process.
