The Italian-engineered dryer features a distinctive spherical, handle-free design that allows stylists to hold and maneuver the tool directly in the palm of the hand—helping reduce wrist strain while improving control and flexibility during blow-drying services.

Celebrity hairstylist, educator, and salon owner Martino Cartier says the difference was noticeable immediately.
“For decades, stylists have been working with hair dryers that naturally bend the wrist into an uncomfortable L-shape position,” says Cartier. “That repeated motion is what contributes to wrist fatigue, tennis elbow and carpal tunnel. The iQsfera changes that completely because your wrist stays naturally aligned while you work. Wherever your forearm moves, the dryer moves with you.”
Cartier, who has spent more than 30 years behind the chair, says he was equally impressed by the dryer’s performance.
“My immediate reaction was disbelief,” he says. “I couldn’t believe this little hair dryer had such a powerful punch. The second I picked it up and felt the airflow, I immediately understood this was something completely different.”
Designed and engineered in Italy, the iQsfera is powered by a high-performance digital motor that reaches 85,000 rpm, with a turbo boost option up to 92,000 rpm. The dryer also features Oxy-Active Technology, which emits active oxygen to help enhance shine while protecting and maintaining the vibrancy of color-treated hair.

Additional features include Venturi Effect technology to maximize airflow while reducing energy consumption, along with an e-System C feature designed to monitor abnormal heat conditions and maintain optimal operating temperature during use. The dryer includes four temperature settings, three speed settings, a cool shot button, and a 9.8-foot cord.
For Cartier, one of the biggest advantages is the freedom of movement the dryer allows during styling services.
“A handle physically gets in your way and obstructs your movement,” Cartier says. “With the iQsfera, you can maneuver into harder-to-reach areas much easier without awkwardly twisting your arm or bumping the client.”
Another standout feature, according to Cartier, is the dryer’s Smart Holder. The stand automatically powers the dryer off when it’s set down and back on when it’s picked up again, allowing stylists to move more seamlessly through services.
“No other hair dryer I’ve used has ever done anything like this,” he says.

The iQsfera includes a Smart Holder, wide nozzle, narrow nozzle, star nozzle, and deep diffuser.
For Cartier, the iQsfera represents a larger shift in professional beauty technology—and how stylists may begin thinking about comfort, efficiency, and longevity behind the chair.
“Traditional hair dryers are like flip phones,” he says. “The iQsfera is a smartphone. Once stylists experience this level of comfort, control and power in something this lightweight, they’re not going to want to go back.”
The iQsfera is available through Cosmoprof, SalonCentric, and authorized GA.MA Professional distributors nationwide.
