Gina Bianca (@the_hair_doctor) of Gina Bianca Hair (@ginabiancahair), Southington, Connecticut, had an opportunity to create some magic on a box color client looking for something new and professional. "She had very fine hair," says Bianca, "and 5 years of box color. She hadn't had it cut her hair in 2 years. She was terrified of hairdressers due to bad experiences."
Here Bianca shares the HOW TO for this fresh color design that the client "LOVED!":
Step 1: Apply to the root area in 1/2 inch sections: Paul Mitchell 3NN with 20 volume developer.
Step 2: Foil balayage highlight using Paul Mitchell DPL w/ 30 volume, blended with Olaplex. Place horizontally throughout the hair leaving out a one inch veil at her part.
Step 3: Process for 30 minutes or until desired lift is achieved.
Step 4: Glaze with Paul Mitchell 9BV and 9NB, equal parts.
Step 5: Process for 20 minutes at the sink. Rinse.
