At the Intercoiffure Canada America (ICA) 20202 Virtual Gathering, Anna Pacitto, ICA Artistic Director, debuted her latest collection, FACTION.
A dictionary definition of the word faction ("a number of citizens, whether amounting to a minority or majority of the whole, who are united and actuated by some common impulse of passion, or of interest, adverse to the rights of other citizens, or to the permanent and aggregate interests of the community") set the stage for this collection.
The faction Pacitto envisions is one promoting peace through a unified effort. As the collection announcement states:
Inspired by a peaceful movement to make our planet a better and more beautiful place for the good of our communities and to make sure we all have a home to sustainable live in peace and harmony by taking conscious decisions to really make a difference...together.
