Last week's episode of MODERN SALON TV featured Goldwell North American art director John C. Simpson, who shared his step-by-step instructions on how to create dimensional fringe using foils and unique color placement—all in less than 60 seconds! Simpson's tricks include melding two to four shades of Goldwell color together and using the art of diffusion to eliminate any "show-and-tell" lines.

He says, "The light is only as strong as the dark that sits beside it, and this quick and easy tip in a minute gives you a brilliant result."

Also in the last episode, we bring you a highlight reel from MODERN SALON editors Maggie Mulhern and Alison Shipley reporting live from New York City's amazing Fashion Week. This season's glitz and glam did not disappoint, so check out three stories that highlight the event's lasting impressions. This could have been a great tip but the camera work is terrible! You can't even see the top of the foils in the close up windows and the video quality is too poor to see it in the larger window. This was my first time actually clicking on my modern salon email... bad first impression Sorry to be so negative but I'm bummed!
