The ORIBE La Fama Poster...So Many Want One!!!

The poster announcing the details of "La Fama", the Oribe Backstage program scheduled for June 9 and 10, has become a coveted piece of art. The beautiful image (and much of Oribe art) was created by artist Alvaro.

"Oribe himself called me and asked me to come up with something James Bond for La Fama," Alvaro told me recently when we met in NYC. "He is such a genius on so many levels. He wanted to grab the excitement of Miami Beach, including cars and alligators and beautiful women."

While the poster clearly captures the magic of 007 and bombshell women, a highlight for many is the homage to Oribe's poodle, Brutus.

"Creating this poster for Oribe and the Oribe team is a dream come true," says Alvaro. "Perhaps I will be able join everyone at the Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach to experience La Fama first hand." More than 1000 salon professionals are expected to attend La Fama and special guests and surprises are expected.

In this short video, Alvaro offers details about the poster, and to find out more about the event, go to Oribe.com/lafama.
