Wigs & Wishes....Be There

Maggie Mulhern | August 27, 2013 | 5:54 AM

Wigs & Wishes, the November 3 event to benefit Friends are by Your Side, has been sold out for weeks, but founder Martino Cartier has figured out a way to include more people.

"The first annual 'A Night of Wigs and Wishes' is going to be a very special night," says Cartier. "The goal is to raise funds and additional awareness for Friends are by Your Side, the charity designed to help people suffering from hair loss. There are going to be special appearances by celebrities, a live auction and AMAZING swag bags."

As of this writing, Tabatha Coffey, the cast of Jerseylicious and Mary from The Cake Boss will be in attendance. There will be performances by Liv Divine, Don't Call Me Francis and comedian/motivational speaker Kathy Buckley. Although the event is sold out, Cartier has added "Meet and Mingle" tickets ($85) which will include just about everything included in the full price tickets, however the presentations will be viewed on a live feed in adjacent ballrooms.

Wigs & Wishes will take place November 3 at the Lucien's Manor in Berlin, NJ, starting at 5 pm.
