Section the hair forehead to nape,
and ear to ear. Apply Majirel 6.3 with
20 volume (dark golden blonde) to the
regrowth, to match existing shade.
Continue through to the back in
½-inch sections.
From ½-inch diagonal sections,
weave on foil medium-size
subsections. Use Majirel 8.30 with
40-volume developer from midlengths
to ends to make a medium intense
golden blonde for dimension.
Feather into the root shade.
At the front, baliage select sections
with Platinium and 40-volume
developer. Apply over the base color.
Cover with foil and process for 35
minutes at room temperature.
Blow dry over a round brush prior to
cutting.
Begin the face frame cut by directing
the strands forward and slide cutting
from the fringe to the lengths.
Then lift up from the crown and blend
from the front lengths to the back.
To create the tight side, begin at the
nape. Take a diagonal section, spray
heavily at the root and direct to the
opposite side. Pin in place to secure.
Continue along the back working up
to the side in ½-inch sections.
Brush between each section and
blend from a parting along the
parietal.
Before styling, “set” the hair with a
curling iron. Using a medium-barrel
iron, wrap the hair down and away
from the face.
Hair is set in invisible rods from a
medium-sized curling iron away from
the flat side.
Allow to cool and then brush out to
the desired shape.
