Anne Moratto | August 8, 2016 | 8:51 PM

This gorgeous color by Kari Sanders (@for.non.blondes), a freelance artist specializing in blondes at Panther City Salon in Magnolia, TX, offers major #hairinspo.

Starting level 8 natural hair

STEP ONE: "I wanted to leave a root so I did a Mohawk parting, taking 2" sections, teasing the root and in foils weaving pieces to lift with lightener."

STEP TWO: "Once I was finished with the Mohawk parting I did the same process framing her face and then anything left out of the foils I hand painted half way up the hair strand."

STEP THREE: "After processing I toned with 10/1 in Wella Illumina with pastel 1:2 for 10 minutes."
